In the mode of a seed, plants produce a highly economic archive of their essential information. Sexual activities lead to an exchange of information between individuals, whereas apomictic reproduction, like parthenogenesis or cloning allows to produce a complete copy of genetic information. Depending on the environment and the special spreading mechanism of the plant the one or the other makes more sense. Dandelion, taraxacum officinale, however is able to switch between those mechanisms and can use the same seed-construction for spreading different "subspecies". This makes the dandelion a predominant agent, a model of adaption, assimilation and conversion or simple a master of global survive.
